Capitol Art Exhibit
GAEA membership is a requirement to participate in this exhibit.
CAE is a celebrated annual event that showcases the creativity and talent of students in Georgia, coinciding with National Youth Art Month. With over fifty years of tradition established by the Georgia Art Education Association (GAEA), this exhibition has evolved from its origins under the iconic gold dome to the larger Twin Towers building, accommodating the growing number of participants.
As the largest state-wide art exhibition for students ranging from pre-kindergarten to college-age, the CAE provides a unique platform for young artists to share their work with the community. Teachers and students are encouraged to engage with their legislators by arranging meetings during the reception, fostering connections and support for the arts in education.
This event not only highlights the artistic achievements of Georgia's youth but also reinforces the importance of art in our schools and society.
