GAEA HMA ​High School Exhibition

 

GAEA membership is a requirement to participate in this exhibition

Co-hosted by the GAEA and The High Museum of Art

Exhibit Opens in the Greene Family Education Center at the High Museum of Art 1280 Peachtree Street, Atlanta 30309.

Exhibit Coordinator: Linn Zamora

This exhibit is open to current GAEA members who teach grades 9-12.

  • Each teacher can submit (1) student artwork.

  • The (one) original artwork must follow these guidelines:

    • Cannot to exceed 18in.x 24in.(matted), including drawing, painting, photography, collage, mixed media, and printmaking.

    • The HMA will no longer accept 3-D artworks.

    • The artwork cannot be needed for other exhibits. The work will remain at the High Museum until the pick-up date.

Key Dates for 2026

Digital Submission

  • March 13th: Deadline for digital AND physical submissions

  • March 31st - April 26th: Art Exhibit

  • April 26th 2pm - 3pm: Ceremony and pick up
